Will Angry Birds Space come to Windows Phone? Unfortunately, I have a two letter word No to answer this question. Unfortunately this is the official version as Rovio, the game developers have thrown out  the possibility of Angry Birds Space coming to Window Phone.

This sad bit of news comes from Peter Vesterbacka, chief marketing officer of the game’s maker. Vesterbacka had this to say in an interview on Bloomberg Television:

We’re the No. 1 app in the Windows Phone app store, but it’s a big undertaking to support it, and you have to completely rewrite the application

Personally speaking, I am totally shocked by this decision. I mean since the your app is at the top of the Windows Phone app hill why would one do such a thing  instead of making an effort to  continue the upward journey and bring to the growing platform users the taste of Angry Birds latest flavor.

Thursday was a big day for Angry Birds fans across the globe and you know why. Yes, Rovio, the developers of the increasingly popular game unleashed to the world, the latest iteration of the bird slinging game, Angry Birds Space. But this release didn’t bring happiness for Windows Phone users and it seems the situation just got worse.

Having said that, I won’t rule out the possibility of Rovio taking a u-turn and bringing their sensational game to the emerging Windows Phone platform. Are you with me on this?
