For quite some time, Twitter has been running their own advertising platform called Promoted Tweets, which allows advertisers to send our specific tweets to users of mobile and desktop devices.
Twitter has now announced two improvements to Promoted Tweets, with the ads program now supporting BlackBerry devices (via the mobile web or official Twitter app) and the second feature is the option to target users of specific operating systems. The option includes desktop/laptop computers as well as iOS, Android, BlackBerry and other mobile devices (smartphones and tablets).
