Apple iPhone iPad Retina Display heading to MacBooks

It’s not often we cover non-mobile related news here on UKMobileReview but this one clearly shows the gains that Apple has received through its domination of the mobile industry.

Apple’s MacBooks, which epitomise style and substance in the desktop computing market but come with a high price tag, have not featured a top of the range display like the company’s mobile devices. he latest version of the company’s OSX Lion operating system includes updated 1,024 x 1,024 icons which should see Apple launch a ultra-high-res display on their Macbooks later this year.

A single share of Apple costs more than one iPad and the company is the most valuable technology company in the world. Apple’s shares are expected to hit the $2,000 mark by 2015, and if the Retina Display comes to the Macbook alongside other expected upgrades such as a thin portable form factor, Apple’s shares will continue to rise and rise.
