Adobe flash on mobile is in the last throes of its life as Adobe announced its demise.
Adobe announced on its blog that as from 15 August 2012 Adobe Flash will no longer be available for download in Google’s Android Play Store.
Adobe flash has long been a controversy at a time with the popularity of Apple’s iOS on the iPhone and iPad who sees no need for the service and which has received no debilitating effects on its non use.
Android 4.1 will receive no certification and this will end further installations. Google earlier this week announced Android 4.1 os Jelly Bean.
If you are already a user then you can continue to use the service and will be supported by updated and patches.
