Apple’s Next-Generation MacBook Pro really is the best computer on earth (according to CEO Tim Cook) and Apple have extended their TV marketing campaign, bringing the next generation MacBook Pro (MBP) to the eyes and attention of millions of people.

The advert is different to previous Apple adverts (which feature particular features of the product) as it continues late founder Steve Jobs’s philosophy of simplicity and “less is more” by focusing directly on the product itself and creating a surreal unexpected effect around the design, elegance and sophistication of Apple’s latest flagship computer.
Traditionally, Apple has only advertised its iPhones, iPads and iPods on televisions in the UK but the latest MacBook Pro advert sees them hope to replicate their mobile division’s advertising success in their computing division. Will it work?
