Nokia has introduced a trio of new devices to add to its popular Asha S40 range. These include the Asha 311, 305 and 306.
The Nokia Asha devices are destined for emerging markets and seeks to provide mobile technology at an affordable price for everyone. The Asha range is aimed at the young, urban and social user aiming to keep them connected online faster, better and cheaper.
The three new devices will run Nokia’s new Asha Touch interface providing an intuitive aspect in a fun and platform form.
The Nokia Asha 306 and 305 are almost duplicate devices. The only difference is that the 306 has WiFi and the 305 is a dual sim device.
The shared specifications of the phones are as follows:
- 3.0” WQVGA resistive touch screen
- 2 MP camera
- Music player and FM radio
- Built-in speaker
- Plug and Play, easy PC connection and file transfer
- GPRS/EDGE connectivity
- Nokia Maps and Nokia Life (in selected markets)
- Colours: Silver White, Red, Mid Blue and Dark Grey (varies by market)
The third device announced by Nokia is the Asha 311.The Asha 311 features a capacitive touch screen and is a 3.5 enable mobile phone. Its speed does from a 1GHz processor and it includes the featured 40 Free EA games.
We can expect to see the Asha 305 in emerging markets from Q2 2012 and the Nokia Asha 306 and 311 in Q3 2012. Price availability: Nokia Asha 305 – 63 euros / 85 USD, Nokia Asha 306 – 68 euros / 93 USD and Nokia Asha 311 – 92 euros / 121 USD.
