Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 powering Windows Phone 8

Qualcomm has officially confirmed that their new Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor will power the upcoming Windows Phone 8 devices from Nokia, Huawei, Samsung and HTC.

Qualcomm announced that the devices will feature the MSM8960 dual-core Krait (Snapdragon S4 Plus) processor with Adreno 225 GPU (as found in the Android-toting HTC One S). The CPU features 3G/LTE support as well as LP DDR memory, reduced power consumption and 720p HD resolution support.
