A few days back Apple opened iCloud.com, a web interface for their new iCloud service, to developers. iCloud will launch this autumn as part of the global release of the new iOS version, iOS5, which features amongst other things, iCloud support, iMessage and Twitter integration.
Apple have revealed their iCloud pricing and it’s below:
- First 5GB of data: Free
- 10GB additional: £14 / year
- 20GB additional: £28 / year
- 50GB additional: £70 / year
Whilst not the cheapest of cloud storage options, iCloud is a must for those who use multiple iOS/OSX devices as it’ll keep everything in sync nicely.
Will you be buying additional storage on iCloud or even using it in the first place? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter & FaceBook.
