Every day there are a couple of apps that go free on the iOS App Store. In this little article I will try to tell you about one of the best games that became free today. This review is obviously based on my personal opinion and every time a cool game becomes free you can count on me to supply a little heads up together with a little review.
So the which became free today was Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing or for short Sonic Racing. I grew playing Nintendo 64 at my friend’s house and we were always, always playing Sonic so this game touched a soft spot for me.
Everyone who ever played Mario Kart should feel comfortable with this game. The controls are simple and intuitive. Gas is automatic and you steer by tilting your iDevice. On the bottom right side there’s a red button for breaking and reversing and a yellow button for drifting. Drift long enough and when you stop drifting you’ll get a speed boost. On the bottom left you’ll see all of our power-ups showing as you smash the little crates marked with a “?”.
Most people know exactly how this type of game works and how much fun can be had so go ahead and download it now from the App Store! The game is free for a limited time and it’s also universal so you can race away with Sonic on your iPad or your iPhone.
