T-Mobile launches Data Roaming Bundles

T-Mobile is the latest network to reveal their new data roaming bundles as part of recent EU legislation, following rival networks Vodafone and Three.

The latest bundles will come into effect today with several rates available depending upon the size of the bundle and the country you’re visiting (that’s both EU and Non-EU zones).

Inside the EU (where the rules apply), three one-month packages are available offering 1MB, 20MB or 50MB and costing £1, £5 or £10 respectively.

Ben Fritsch, Head of Propositions, T-Mobile UK said:

“This year, 90% of all our new pay monthly customers have opted for a smartphone, which proves the ever increasing demand from consumers to be connected while on the go. We are really proud to be the first UK operator to ensure our customers can continue to be connected, anywhere in the world – and have the peace of mind they’ll never come back to an unexpected bill.”

In comparison, Three’s new offering allows you All You Can Eat unlimited data in Europe for just £5 per day whilst Vodafone’s EuroTraveller allows you to take your entire “home” package (that’s your inclusive UK minutes, texts and mobile data) abroad for just £3 per day inside Europe.
