Vodafone are set to release the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Samsung Galaxy S2 users in just two days, the company said.
The rollout will hit UK users of the Galaxy S2 on Vodafone from April 12th, following delays as we reported.
Here’s the official line:
‘The Android Ice Cream Sandwich update for Samsung Galaxy S II has now been approved, and is set to be available on 12th April via Over The Air update and Samsung KIES. This is a provisional date which could change, but we’ll let you know here if that’s the case.’
We’ve already reported the Galaxy S2 Android Ice Cream Sandwich update changelog and it’s good to see Vodafone are planning to release this update quickly, following on from O2 and Three.
