Apple’s iPhone users have been put at the forefront of technology when it comes to developing apps and games for consumers.
Android users have been playing catch-up for sometime on some of the most popular apps and games available to phone users with the likes of Instagram finally arriving, it would appear that developers are taking the time to listen.
Samsung has consumed a huge part of the phone market, eating some of the profits of Apple’s iOS. In line with this recognition, developers have noticed that there is more than one eco-system for which they could be developing for.
Long term game maker Square Enix has joined the list as it brings Final Fantasy II to Android. Apple’s iOS users had enjoyed a year of ‘only on iOS’ status. However, they have rather bitten the bullet with a huge price hike at £10.99 for the game on Android.
However, Final Fantasy has a huge fan base and it would appear that this would be an ideal way to ‘monetize’ on that.
You can get a copy of Final Fantasy II from Google’s Play Store.
