Samsung say “No Compromise” in patent war with Apple

Apple recently made an offer to Samsung for settlement in one of the multiple patent infringement cases between the two companies; the offer would have seen Samsung pay $5 to $15 per device, but Samsung has not reacted positively to the offer.

Samsung’s head of telecommunications, Shin Jong-Kyun said there would be “No Compromise!” in a meeting with senior staff members. Samsung also raised the patent war budget by $60 million for 2012, bringing the total for this year to $260 million versus $200 million last year.

Apple are now left with two choices; attempt to come to a solution with the Korean manufacturer or face a fight as Samsung looks set to fight until the end.
