Another pictures has appeared on the web of the Samsung Galaxy S3, this time all but confirming the device has a 4.8 inch display.
An anonymous tipster sent the image to Know Your Mobile showing off the Galaxy S3 up against a ruler; the image clearly shows the device measures 130mm (actually around 135mm once you take into account the ruler is at the bottom of the device and 0 is around 5 mm into the ruler).
Using Pythagoras’ theorem, the device is confirmed to have a display which is 4.74 inches across the diagonal, just slightly bigger than its direct competitor, the HTC One X.
