Samsung Hosts World Cyber Games with Pollyanna Woodward

Samsung is to host the final of the World Cyber Games today at Earl’s Court.

The Eurogamer Expo will feature TV presenter Pollyanna Woodward on the Samsung Stand.

The winning gamer will join other finalists for the December finals to be held in China this year.

The World Cyber Games kicks off Thursday 27 September until 30th September. It is free to enter and during the event Samsung will showcase their best products.

Feature of the day will be the official Aston Martin car from EA Games Need for Speed for fans to be pictured with.

As always, a freebie has to be part of any event and the lucky winner who draws the best picture on the Galaxy Note of a Galaxy Note will win a Galaxy Note 10.1.

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note II at the event.

WCG is a leading international e-sports festival sponsored globally by Samsung for the 12th successive year. This year over 300,000 players have competed worldwide to represent their nation in the finals. An expected 450 players from 40 countries are expected to compete across a variety of games including FIFA 12, Starcraft® 2, DOTA 2, Cross Fire® and Warcraft® III, for a combined prize of $250,000. Ten individuals will represent the UK having been crowned as the nation’s best gamers in the global WCG finals in Kunshan, China, November and December 2012.
