T-Mobile UK have launched the sleek Sony Xperia U with contracts beginning at just £15.50 per month for the smartphone which features a sleek design and customisable LED notification bar.
The contract, which is 24 months minimum commitment offers 100 minutes, 500 texts and 250MB mobile web as well as one free T-Mobile booster (unlimited texts, landline calls, t-mobile calls, etc) for just £15.50 per month. Luckily, you’ll be able to use Orange’s 2G and 3G signal as well and other tariffs are available via the link below.
The Xperia U features a 3.5inch Reality Display (850 x 480p pixels) as well as a dual-core 1GHz processor, Sony Mobile Bravia Engine, 5 megapixel camera and LED flash. Other features include the Android Gingerbread platform (with planned upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich) and Sony’s Timescape UI, as on the Sony Xperia S.
The lower part is one of the key USPs of the Xperia U with an interchangeable lower panel alongside a customisable LED colour strip which also acts as a navigation bar (see more in our video below).
